Job description

Contract: Casual - Working hours and days will vary and are dependent on the needs of the Academy
Pay Rate: £12.65 per hour

We are seeking to recruit an Exam Invigilator, to work with the existing team, to support the running and facilitating of secondary public and internal examinations at The St Leonards Academy.

The post would be ideally suited to applicants who feel a sense of responsibility for today's young people and who are able to work flexible daytime hours.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Checking the exam environment before, during and after a session
  • Efficient and proper management of post exam duties including checking exam papers remain in the hall
  • Monitoring the behaviour of students during the exam

Led by our experienced Exams Officer, you will need to be able to:

  • Understand and apply detailed written instructions, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Concentrate and work quickly under pressure
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Use initiative in response to unexpected situations
