About the role
In this role as a Temporary Full-Time Events Officer, you will play a crucial role in working with event organisers on their planning and execution of events. This regulatory position is integral to ensuring that events are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. You will be responsible for processing event and film applications, issuing permits, and providing essential support and guidance to event organisers throughout the entire process.
Work type: Temporary Full time - 15 months
Classification: Band 6 ($90,263 - $97,365 pa plus super)
Key responsibilities include:
In this role, you will be expected to exercise autonomy in decision-making and manage resources effectively to achieve both individual and team objectives. You will also contribute to the Event Multi Agency Working group meetings and ensure all activities comply with Council policies and procedures.
