Summary

London Business School is looking for a Donor Relations (Events) Manager to join our Advancement team. You will be responsible for designing and delivering bespoke and strategic events for high-profile audiences to advance fundraising.

This is an exciting time for London Business School, as we are entering year 3 of our Forever Forward campaign, celebrating the School's 60th anniversary with a new Dean and our truly global community of 55,000+ alumni.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Manage the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of bespoke events with our key audiences in the UK and globally.
  2. Ensure that the right resources (both internal and external) are deployed within budget and in support of agreed objectives.
  3. Work with stakeholders to analyse and evaluate the ROI and impact of events.
  4. Use your knowledge and experience to put forward innovative ideas and suggestions to engage more audiences and support fundraising efforts.

Ideal Candidate

  1. Experience of both planning and delivering events or projects, preferably within the higher education, fundraising or charity sector.
  2. Experience of delivering bespoke VIP events (desirable).
  3. Ability to multitask, self-prioritise and manage multiple projects at once.
  4. Organised, entrepreneurial and creative with strong problem-solving skills.
  5. A proactive self-starter who works with initiative.
  6. Experience of working with a range of different stakeholders.
  7. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to a range of audiences.
  8. Experience of using a CRM database and Excel.
  9. Strong IT and data analysis skills, including Microsoft Office.
  10. Good project management skills.
  11. Budget management experience (desirable).
