Events Manager

Passionate about creating unforgettable student experiences? Want to shape Freshers’ Week and lead on exciting, student driven events? From multi stage festivals to wellbeing initiatives, no two days are the same!

We’re looking for a creative and organised Events Manager to lead our events team at the University of Sussex Students’ Union. You’ll collaborate with student groups, juggle multiple projects and develop an events programme that makes a real impact.

Job title: Events Manager

Responsible to: Deputy CEO

Responsible for: Events Coordinator, Nightlife Safety Advocates, Events Assistant (Grade 3) and Student staff related to Events (15) grades 1-2

Salary: £30,954 - (Grade 5.1)

Hours of work: 36.5 hours per week.

Contract: Fixed Term - 2 years.

Location: Falmer House, University of Sussex, BN1 9QF. However, we are supportive of hybrid working with this role expected to work a minimum of 75% of their hours from the office.
