The purpose of this role is to conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies to be realised through events – both in person and online. This role will organise and oversee all aspects of each event from planning, communications – internal and external, promotions, creative, comms, lead generation and reporting.
Job Description:A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, creative, and highly organised event executive to join the marketing and communications team at dentsu.
As the event executive you will report directly to the event manager and will be working on multiple events across our three key event pillars: people, partners, and clients, which will include a combination of virtual, hybrid and live audiences.
With a big focus on our partner pillar, the role of event executive will be responsible for delivering on our annual media partner event roadmap as well as supporting on the overall media partner engagement strategy.
The event executive will also be focused on working with the wider marketing team on key client and industry events contributing to business growth and reputation and supporting our employee resource groups to deliver educational events for our people that contribute to the overall DEI strategy.
Key Responsibilities
As the event executive you will be responsible for:
- Scheduling and delivering our internal media partner events and activations, working closely with each partner on the format and branding options, the invitation process, content and speaker ideas and post-event follow-up and reporting.
- Briefing and working with the internal design team on creating event invitations, social media assets, landing pages and other marketing collateral.
- Working closely with the internal Tech and AV team to ensure our in-office hybrid and live events are supported and run seamlessly.
- Collaborating with internal facilities, from across all UK office locations, to support with the delivery of office-based hybrid and in-person events and activations.
- Working closely with the wider marketing team to deliver on industry, client, and lead generation events such as digital webinars, report launches and breakfast briefings.
- Support the event manager and employee resource groups with scheduling and delivering on our internal DEI and educational virtual and hybrid events.
- Supporting the event manager and wider marketing team with large-scale dentsu events that may include conferences, drinks receptions and charity fundraising galas.
- Co-ordinate and analyse event feedback and keep event reporting documents up to date.
Essential
- Previous experience in an event management environment.
- Previous experience of in-person events and confident in delivery of virtual and hybrid events.
- Enthusiastic and happy to work individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident in dealing and communicating with stakeholders of all levels.
- Competent in using event management software such as Splash for landing page building.
- Familiar with managing event budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting to ensure events are delivered within budget.

- Confident in managing relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Ability to identify and solve problems quickly.
