Purpose of Position

To offer the highest standards of hospitality and welcome to all guests; as the first point of contact in the venue, our Events Coordinator ensures a very happy start to our guests' experience at Puttshack by being friendly, smiley, and welcoming. They have the responsibility for ensuring that guests understand how the venue works.

The ultimate goal of all associates is to deliver excellent guest service, creating a unique experience for the guest which makes them want to return. You should be positive, loyal, and a proud ambassador of the Puttshack brand.


Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Being the lead communication with private event booking clients for our private dining rooms and exclusive venue hires, reporting to your line manager for support (Events Operations Manager).
  • Creating clear food and beverage pre-orders for the private events while up-selling our products.
  • Planning logistics and operations for large and small conferences/meetings/parties.
  • Performing basic venue AV setup (handheld mics, projectors, lighting, and sound). You will be given full training on this.
  • Sourcing and booking cool and unique suppliers as per event requests.
  • Prepping your events and being present to manage the setup, bar prep, food service, and anything else required to the highest standard.
  • Greeting and briefing clients (event bookers) before an event.
  • Inputting pre-orders through the till before each event.
  • Available to work weekends and evenings as per when events are scheduled.
  • Weekly meetings with the kitchen to discuss pre-orders of food.
  • Monthly stock takes of events equipment and taking ownership of this.

Essential Requirements

  • A passion for event planning and hospitality!
  • Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality.
  • Previous experience in event planning or project management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • The highest customer service skills.
  • Quick thinking on your feet using common sense.
  • Proactive and positive can-do attitude!
