We are recruiting for an Education Events Co-ordinator to join our client, a non-profit members' organisation linked to the medical industry, based in Windsor.

This is a truly exciting opportunity to be part of an exciting organisation.

The Education Events Coordinator provides essential project coordination and administrative support to manage and evaluate the Academy programme of online events. This role also coordinates the efficient running of the registration function within the Academy.

This role requires someone educated to graduate level, highly organised with superb communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Salary is £28k - £30k plus excellent benefits. Hybrid working (3 days home, 2 days in the office).

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Online Courses
  • Liaise with Course Director/s and work closely with them to develop and establish the scientific programme.
  • Establish the online pages for the events.
  • Invite appropriate faculty members and liaise with them to ensure that accurate information is exchanged about the Programme, that biographies are gained, and all administrative arrangements are managed effectively.
  • Build relationships and liaise with industry partners in order to secure sponsorship.
  • Create and distribute course material e.g. programmes, flyers, break slides and evaluation forms.
  • Attend and provide live online management support.
  • Ensure all platforms are running efficiently and are used to their full capacity (current platform is Zoom).
  • Coordinate the pre and post event process for delegates, sending out joining instructions, and dealing with the post-event evaluation survey.
  • Ensure that all presentations/videos/live case recordings and other course content is uploaded to the online library within the appropriate timescales.
  • Course Registration
  • Set up and coordinate course registration in the system.
  • Monitor and review registration information and payments, including sending payment reminders.
  • Notify the Education Programme Manager when increased marketing is required.
  • Support the Education Event Coordinators with delegate communication, name badges and any other requests related to registration.
  • Answer all queries involved in the registration process.
  • Other Responsibilities
  • Working outside of core hours (08:30-17:00) will be required 2-3 times a month.
  • Work with Education Programmes Manager to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies in all aspects of the Academy Programme (online, hybrid and in-person).
Essential Skills And Experience Include
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with a range of individuals.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • A good understanding of the voluntary sector or membership organisations (desirable).
  • Computer literate.
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility and the ability to cope well under pressure.
  • A good team player who is able to support colleagues.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional international travel.
  • Ability to occasionally work at weekends and evenings.
