Events Cleaner - Temporary Casual May 2025

Location: Royal Armouries, Leeds
Salary: £12.21 per hour (paid weekly)
Dates: May 2025 (with potential for extension)

Join a hardworking and supportive team at the Royal Armouries for our large-scale events in May. This is an excellent chance to gain experience at one of Leeds' most renowned venues while playing a key role in ensuring the venue remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all attendees.

Responsibilities:

As an Event Cleaner, you will help maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the venue. Your tasks will include:

• Cleaning and sanitising event spaces, seating areas, and restrooms
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste disposal areas are well maintained
• Keeping public areas tidy and presentable throughout the event
• Assisting with deep cleaning before and after event hours
• Restocking hygiene supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.)

Shift Options:

We offer a variety of shifts across our events, giving you flexibility while earning extra income. Please note that shifts are long and require stamina, but you’ll be part of a supportive team in a fast-paced event environment!

Who We’re Looking For:

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential. If you have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, we’d love to have you on our team!

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Have great attention to detail and take pride in your work
• Can work efficiently and independently
• Are proactive and reliable
• Can handle physical tasks such as lifting waste bags and using cleaning equipment
• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment
