Diffblue is a fast growing start-up changing the way software is developed using Artificial Intelligence.

We're looking for a part-time Events and Office Coordinator to join us at Diffblue for 22.5 hours/week (spread across 5 days), reporting to the VP of HR. This is a hybrid role which requires regular visits to the Oxford office as needed and for company meetings.

Diffblue is entering a new stage of growth and we're looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised, detail-oriented individual to join our team to help us with day-to-day office management (co-working space), events administration, support the Marketing team with events management, and assist the CEO with occasional projects. This role offers various career paths and will be a great opportunity for someone to grow into Marketing, Office Administration, or EA roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange events as needed for the office (fun team) and leadership team - includes booking rooms for external meetings, meals, and travel bookings (hotel and flights as needed).
• Support the marketing team with event management and related logistics.
• Update the asset register and order any office equipment and supplies as needed.
• Point of contact for everything related to the running of the office.
• Assist the CEO with arranging Board meetings (using Doodle), VC meetings, and any other meetings as required.
• Systems Admin support: work closely with IT on all IT equipment needs, software usage, renewals, and setting up applications in Cledara, cloud services, phones, etc. Aim is always to reduce spend where possible.
• Any other tasks as required suitable for the role.

Optional but Desirable Skills:

• Experience of working in a busy small office/start-up environment.
• Experience of working as a PA/EA.
