Event Sales Representative – Baseball Tournaments

Location: Prospect Meadows Sports Complex – Marion, IA
Event Dates: June 19 – July 28, 2025
Compensation: $15/hour + 10% commission on personal sales
Schedule: Flexible, event-based (weekday and weekend shifts depending on tournament schedule)

About the Role:

Mine Baseball is a fast-growing baseball brand looking for friendly, driven, and sports-savvy college students to join our event sales team this summer in Marion, IA. You’ll represent our brand and sell premium bats and gear directly to players, parents, and coaches at top-tier tournaments at Prospect Meadows.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves baseball, enjoys engaging with people, and wants to earn solid pay with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Represent Mine Baseball at a high-traffic tournament booth
2. Set up, manage, and maintain a clean, professional product display
3. Talk to families, players, and coaches about our bats and gear
4. Process sales transactions using our POS system
5. Track and report sales daily to the Director of Event Sales
6. Assist with booth breakdown and inventory at the end of the event

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging personality
2. Passion for baseball (playing, coaching, or as a fan)
3. Dependable and professional—able to show up on time and work independently
4. Willing to be on your feet outdoors for long stretches of time
5. Basic familiarity with using a tablet or card reader for transactions
6. Must be local to or able to commute to Marietta, GA (no travel/housing included)

Preferred (Not Required):

1. Prior experience in retail, customer service, or sales
2. Baseball or team sports background
