London | Large Dry Hire Venue

Full-Time | £36,000 - £42,000 + Bonus (based on experience)

We are recruiting an Operations Manager for a leading London Event Caterer based at one of London’s premier dry hire venues, specialising in large-scale events for up to 2,000 guests.

The Role:

As Event Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the operational planning and execution of events, ensuring top-tier service and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver exceptional catering experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the operational delivery of large-scale events (corporate, gala dinners, exhibitions etc.).
2. Manage catering logistics, including staffing, equipment, and supplier coordination.
3. Ensure seamless event setup, execution, and breakdown.
4. Maintain high food and service standards, adhering to health & safety regulations.
5. Collaborate with sales, culinary, and front-of-house teams to exceed client expectations.
6. Lead and motivate a team of event staff, ensuring top performance.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Proven experience in event catering operations, ideally within large-scale venues.
2. Strong knowledge of logistics, staffing, and event flow for high-volume functions.
3. Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve under pressure.
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
5. Understanding of health & safety and licensing regulations.
6. A hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail.
