OVERVIEW

We are recruiting for experienced chefs to work in venues all across the London area with us.

Venues can vary from restaurants to stadiums. Experience in events is preferred.

You need to be comfortable walking into new venues and hit the ground running.

We require you to have at least 4 years experience as a chef.

If you have experience managing kitchens at events, then great. We're always on the lookout for lead chefs.

You will often be catering for up to 500 people in a team of chefs.

Duties include all expected kitchen duties, from H&S/Due Diligence.

Just because you are agency, doesn't mean you get to wash your hands of the job.

Pay varies from client to client, approx £16-£22 depending on venue & job role on that day.

You also have the choice of working with us at other venues/events and freedom to choose your shifts.

Requirements for the role

• Valid Food Safety Level 2 & Food Allergens certificates – we can provide if needed.
• You will preferably have an NVQ Level 1,2,3 Professional Cookery (or equivalent) OR relevant experience in the role.

• An eagerness to work hard & enthusiasm for your role
• Eligible to work in the UK

Responsibilities and Duties

• Cook to specification and opportunity for menu creation.
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness to the highest standard.
• Product Delivery, Standards and Innovation.
• Liaising with Front of House Staff and Management.
• Stock Control, Waste Management and Finance.
• Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Maintenance.
• Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety at Work, COSHH and other legislation at all times.
