About Us
At Camden, we're not just imagining a better future - we're building it. We're making sure no one is left behind as we shape a borough where everyone can thrive. With major changes happening in Euston, including HS2 and the potential for new delivery vehicles and structures at Euston such as a Development Corporation, there's never been a more exciting time to get involved.
The Role
You will lead the development and implementation of key policy and strategy frameworks, manage complex projects, and build trusted relationships across internal and external partners including HS2 Ltd, Network Rail, DfT, GLA, TfL, Lendlease, and local communities. Your work will inform how Camden responds to regeneration opportunities and ensure local voices are embedded in decision-making.
As project manager, you will oversee workstreams linked to planning policy and wider Euston strategies and help represent the Council in high-level discussions. You'll guide teams and consultants, support junior staff, and ensure effective cross-council coordination.
About You
You are a skilled strategic thinker with deep experience in urban policy, regeneration, and planning. You've successfully delivered complex projects in politically sensitive environments and are comfortable managing competing priorities and navigating ambiguity. You understand governance structures, including Development Corporations, and know how to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Your communication and leadership skills are excellent. You can confidently engage with residents, elected members, senior leaders, and technical experts alike. You're collaborative, pragmatic, and focused on creating positive change through inclusive, well-evidenced policy.
Working for Camden
We're ready to welcome your ideas, your views, and your rebellious spirit. Help us redefine how we're supporting people, and we'll redefine what a career can be. If that sounds good to you, we'd love to talk.
At Camden, you'll receive a host of benefits as well as joining a flexible working employer. Click HERE to see full details of our benefits.
