Supply Chain Manager (Automotive)

Remote - Germany or UK

Excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain Professional with an extensive Automotive background to join a well-established, global business in a role where you will be able to shape and define the Supply Chain Operations of their European arm.

This company is a global supplier of Original Equipment to the Automotive sector and has sites around the world. They are currently in a period of change within the company and are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to work for their European operation and collaborate closely with their Head Office in the far east.

In this role, you will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for the overall Supply Chain of their Original Equipment in Europe. You will monitor customer demand as well as stock levels in line with this, as well as optimising and implementing continuous improvement practices. This role can be undertaken remotely; however, it will require frequent visits to their sites across Europe.

The ideal candidate will come from a technical Automotive engineering background, preferably OE. They will have demonstrated and undertaken a significant level of responsibility in a supply chain/logistics role and possess a good level of English language skills.

  • Option to be fully remote but with travel to company sites within Europe

The Person:
  • Automotive Industry background - OE, Tires or similar
  • Experience within a Supply Chain/Logistics vacancy
  • Fluent in English
