This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Pitched Roofing Estimator to join a great specialist sub-contractor.
Package: £50k to £60k

About our Client
My client is a specialist roofing contractor based in the South East. Their projects vary in value from £50k to £2 million, consisting of pitched roofs along with other services they provide. They are looking to add an Estimator to their team due to workload.

About the Role
Responsibilities include:

Timely preparation and submission of applications for payment and final accounts.
Contractual negotiations.
Debtor management and control of project variations/cost control.
Submission of tenders on new & re-roofing schemes.

About the Candidate
The ideal candidate must have:

At least 3 years experience in estimating pitched roofing projects.
Commercial awareness.
Good IT skills.
Ability to manage internal company resources.
Understanding of the principles of contract law and how they are applied in practical circumstances.
Able to plan/programme a job, including materials and labour.
Negotiation skills and financial understanding.
Resilience and tenacity.
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
