We are an established and well-respected construction company and due to a growing order book and an ever-increasing volume of opportunities, we are currently looking for an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This exciting opportunity will suit a qualified and ambitious individual, able to work on their own initiative, and who is keen to join a business where they can “make a difference”. We deal with all types of projects including industrial and commercial fit-outs, schools, refurbishments, prisons, court buildings, new build works and more. Typical project value is anything from £50k to £10m.

The role would involve all aspects of estimating and quantity surveying (pre-contract and post-contract) and provides an exciting opportunity to build on an existing set up:

Dealing with initial tender and quotation enquiries
Liaising directly with clients to establish their specific needs
Carrying out site surveys
Dealing with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure best value and quality is achieved
Overseeing tender submission process to ensure highest quality and most competitive bids are submitted
Support of Project Managers for submission of valuations, variations, and Final Accounts
Direct input to the senior management team and help in our ongoing continuous improvement drive

The role will be based at our Solihull office but will involve flexibility and travel as needed. The right person will be offered an attractive package including a very competitive salary, mileage allowance, mobile phone, laptop, pension, and flexible working.
