An established industry player is seeking an experienced mental health nurse to join their team as an EIP Care Coordinator. ESTEP are currently in a position to recruit an experienced mental health nurse for a fixed term contract (up to 9 months) to cover maternity leave.
ESTEP is the Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Service that covers South East Essex and we are looking for an experienced mental health nurse to become an EIP Care Co-ordinator for a fixed term. We seek someone who has existing community experience, ideally within an EIP setting and who has a passion for working with this client group.
Being part of someone's journey towards recovery is extremely powerful and rewarding. For people who have had a psychotic illness we offer a 3-year period of engagement with the team, this means that practitioners can take time to establish relationships and agree plans of care.
There are clear NICE guidelines in terms of a care plan offer and what should be included. Much of the first few months are about getting to know the person you are working with to develop trust and a shared understanding about what a person is experiencing and why.
