Job description

As an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Tutor for Primary and Secondary Age Pupils, your role is to facilitate the language acquisition and integration of students who are non-native English speakers. This role is instrumental in providing a supportive and enriching learning environment that fosters linguistic development, academic success, and cultural understanding. The role of an ESOL Tutor for Primary and Secondary Age Pupils is crucial in bridging language barriers and fostering an inclusive educational environment. By providing targeted language support, cultural awareness, and personalised instruction, you play a pivotal role in empowering pupils to succeed academically and thrive in their English language proficiency.


Role Requirements:


  1. Pay: £35 per hour
  2. DBS on Update: Must have an up-to-date DBS check.
  3. Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable.
  4. Location: Brent and nearby areas.

  1. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about their child's language development and progress.
  2. Collaborate with families to create a supportive home environment that reinforces language acquisition.
