ESOL / EAL teacher

ESOL Teacher Role:

The Education Network has an opportunity at a secondary school in South Tyneside for an EAL teacher/tutor to start on the 9th of December on an ongoing full-time basis.

The school is looking for an EAL Teacher who can contribute effectively to the delivery of English support for Bengali students.

To be considered for this role the requirements are:

• Experience working with learners within the past 2 years.
• A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate or a willingness to apply for one.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both adults and young people.
• Confidence in teaching English as a second language to learners.
• Relevant English language qualifications including TESOL, CELTA, ESL, and ESOL.
