This opportunity is ideal for a talented individual with a strong background in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters and sustainable finance, looking to advance their career within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise clients on a range of ESG-related issues, including compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

- Provide legal support in sustainable finance transactions, including green bonds, sustainability-linked loans, and other ESG investment structures.

- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on emerging trends in ESG regulations, policies, and best practices.

- Draft and negotiate documentation related to sustainable finance and ESG initiatives, ensuring alignment with client objectives and compliance with applicable laws.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for clients in various sectors, including financial services, energy, and infrastructure.

- Engage in client development activities, including participating in industry events and contributing to thought leadership publications.

- Stay updated on global ESG developments and provide training and guidance to internal teams and clients.

Qualifications:

- Qualified lawyer with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in ESG and sustainable finance law.

- Outstanding academic credentials from a top-tier law school, with a strong emphasis on environmental law, finance, or related fields.

- Comprehensive training from a reputable law firm, demonstrating a solid foundation in corporate law and finance.

- Proven ability to manage complex legal issues and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues alike.

- A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact through legal practice.
