Role: ESG Reporting Manager

Salary: Up to £65,000

Location: Central London HQ – 1 day p/w on site

Duration: 8 months

Overview

We are looking to recruit a fixed term Reporting Manager (circa 6-8 months) to support the existing reporting team in the delivery of our ESG reporting. This role will manage the delivery of our current ESG reporting suite under the guidance of the Hof ESG Reporting / ESG Reporting Manager and support the team in the preparations for upcoming mandatory reporting requirements, in particular the upcoming implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements for the 2025/26 financial year.

Responsibilities and key skills

  1. Working with the lead ESG reporting manager to deliver the 2024/25 ESG reporting suite across the Responsible Business report and data appendix, annual report, banner summary reports, and responsible business pages of our website.
  2. Project manage the data collection process for responsible business key performance indicators (KPIs), including the data review and audit process. The reporting manager will be supported by the current ESG reporting manager and an external consultancy.
  3. Manage the audit and assurance of responsible business data, including owning the relationship with external audit providers and internal audit team (where applicable).
  4. Work with internal teams and consultants to improve the quality of responsible business data.
  5. Coordinate the responsible business reporting team, including internal and external specialists, to successfully deliver corporate responsible business reporting to a high standard, on time and within budget.
  6. Support the wider Reporting team on preparation for upcoming requirements, e.g., CSRD.

Key skills:

  1. Technical expertise and experience in sustainability reporting.
  2. Understanding of best practice reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB), frameworks, and regulations.
  3. A good understanding of key ESG issues including climate change, carbon emissions, human rights, modern slavery issues, diversity and inclusion, and circularity.
  4. Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  5. Skilled in analyzing, synthesizing, and presenting technical information in a simple, business-focused format.
  6. Experience in report design and content creation, including briefing agencies and providing constructive feedback on design and copy.
  7. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a degree of ambiguity.
  8. Able to build effective and strong working relationships at all levels of the business.
  9. Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities, capable of multitasking.
