My client is a global credit hedge fund that is looking to hire a Data Analyst for their Data & Analytics function in London.

This Data Analyst will be responsible for building data analytics and reporting solutions and will be involved in multiple projects, including working directly with our ESG, Portfolio Management, and Operations business groups.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with designated business groups to identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities
• Produce detailed analysis of business process workflows, helping with data cleanup
• Collaborate with our internal software development team to develop solutions
• Facilitate coordination and development of data analytics/reporting solutions supporting:
• Senior Management reporting
• Front Office PMs, Traders, and Analysts
• Investor and Regulatory Reporting

Candidate Profile:

• Demonstrable track record of outstanding academic achievement
• Undergraduate degree with a focus on Computer Science
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in the financial industry; asset management preferred (hedge fund, private equity)
• Ability to perform business analysis, as well as manage and maintain various user relationships
• Technical expertise using MS SQL, MS Excel, Python, or other relevant data manipulation tools
• Experience with Snowflake
• Product knowledge with one or more asset classes: Loans, bonds, credit derivatives, FX forwards
