Here at Serco, we are seeking a self-motivated and skilled ERP Systems Security Authorisations and Controls Specialist to join our team! This role offers the opportunity to support and enhance ERP systems while working closely with stakeholders to drive improvements and ensure compliance. If you have experience in ERP management, risk assessment, and IT controls, we want to hear from you!

You will support day-to-day business-as-usual (BAU) tasks related to the ERP systems, working with suppliers, managing user roles/access, and ensuring key IT controls are in place. Under the guidance of the ERP Controls Lead, you will assess risks and identify opportunities to improve existing business processes. Additionally, you will support the leadership of ERP-related projects.

As part of this you’ll:

Team Training & Development:

  1. Take responsibility for mandatory training initiatives.
  2. Support both personal and professional development within the team.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  1. Understand and work within the ERP governance process and stakeholder engagement plan.
  2. Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders and ensure their needs are met.
  3. Develop and maintain the technical architecture of the ERP systems.
  4. Ensure that technical documentation and design patterns are up-to-date and comprehensive.
  5. Manage the delivery of audit data and the documentation of controls.
  6. Oversee the management of security vulnerabilities and ensure that security compliance is continuously monitored.
  7. Perform risk assessments and document controls to enhance the security and functionality of ERP systems.

What you’ll need to do the role:

  1. Expertise in SAP Technical Security Authorisation.
  2. Strong knowledge of business processes, risks associated with them, and IT controls.
  3. Proven ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
  4. Solid experience in risk assessment, documentation of controls, and monitoring security compliance.
  5. Knowledge of Security Weaver support or implementation.
  6. Familiarity with SAP GRC Access Control and agile methodologies.
  7. Experience as an individual contributor in ERP management and security tasks.
