ER Manager, up to £55k pa, 3-4 month FTC, hybrid, Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Senior-Level Case Management:
    Lead and manage a high-quality, person-centered advisory service. Provides expert advice and coaching on complex, multifaceted casework, ensuring compliance with university policies and employment law.
  2. Point of Escalation:
    Serves as the primary point of escalation for sensitive and complex cases, collaborating closely with HR Advisors, Managers, and legal services to achieve fair and effective outcomes.
  3. Team Leadership:
    Provide leadership and management to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, customer service, and learning. Oversee the team's ER caseload, ensuring timely and fair resolution of cases.
What you'll need to succeed:

We need someone who can hit the ground running and has demonstrable proficiency in Employee Relations, handling complex casework, employment law, and HR policy understanding. The ideal candidate will have experience of leading teams within complex organisations. Strong leadership and motivational skills, commercial awareness, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement are essential.
