Equity Analyst (Student Role)

The student driven society, Summit Equity Fund is looking for dedicated and driven students to join our newly founded Equity Research team.

The role:

As an Equity Research Associate, you will:

• Analyse public companies, industries, and market trends
• Develop investment theses and contribute to stock pitches
• Work alongside a collaborative team to simulate real-world fund management
• Continuously research and refine investment ideas in an ever-evolving market
• Gain exposure to portfolio construction, valuation models, and risk analysis

What we look for:

• A basic foundation in finance – knowledge of financial markets, valuation methods (DCF, multiples), and fundamental analysis
• Proficiency in financial tools – Familiarity with Excel, financial news sources, and investment research platforms
• Strong curiosity and drive to learn – We value commitment to growth over prior experience
• Consistency and dedication – This is an engaged, ongoing role requiring active participation in research discussions and portfolio decisions
• Interest in markets, investing, and strategy
