Job description

Millers Vanguard is seeking a dedicated Equipment Surveyor to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our business operations by conducting comprehensive asset and engineering condition assessments across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Nationwide Travel: Conduct thorough asset verification, condition, and dilapidation surveys on mechanical and electrical equipment at various sites across the country.
  2. Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyse detailed information on-site to accurately assess asset conditions.
  3. Reporting: Utilise our asset management software to document and update asset conditions, ensuring all data is accurately reflected in the system.
  4. High-Quality Report Production: Prepare and deliver detailed, high-quality reports using Microsoft Office tools, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of multiple departments within Millers Vanguard.
  5. Effective Communication: Collaborate closely with on-site engineers and staff to ensure comprehensive access to all necessary areas during the survey process.
  6. Support for National Accounts: Assist the National Account Manager in generating detailed reports that will inform and support key business decisions across various departments.

Our ideal candidate:

  1. IOSH/ NEBOSH or equivalent qualifications desirable.
  2. Experience of utilising reporting tools.
  3. Knowledge of asset management principles.
