Job Description Summary

The Medical Equipment Supply Chain Associate, under general supervision of the Supply Chain Supervisor, will support the daily par replenishment and cleaning of medical equipment related to operations of SSH. The associate will be proficient in the use of the RFID medical equipment tracking system and represent the department in a positive and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Par replenish identified medical equipment for all assigned medical equipment par locations.
  2. Use the RFID tracking system to identify replenishment levels.
  3. Clean all medical equipment as required by the IFUs.
  4. Maintain the Storeroom medical equipment inventory.
  5. Identify all medical equipment repair needs to BioMed.
  6. Support supply par replenishment when needed.
  7. Alert Supervisor of any breakdown in medical equipment protocols.
  8. Demonstrate a high level of service delivery; ensure customer satisfaction; manage service failures and prioritize customer needs.
  9. Act in accordance with established guidelines; follow standard procedures in crisis situations; communicate and enforce organizational policies and procedures.
  10. Maintain appropriate documentation and participate in process improvements and quality improvement programs.
  11. Be alert in a high-risk environment; follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data.
  12. Take responsibility for actions and outcomes; be available around the clock in case of emergency; demonstrate dependability in difficult circumstances.
  13. Embrace technology solutions for work practice and processes; utilize information systems, telecom services, and office equipment to maximize efficiencies.
  14. Foster a 'Culture of Safety' through personal ownership and commitment to a safe environment.
  15. Maintain equipment (clean and service as required) to ensure compliance with SMDA and JCAHO regulations.
  16. Respond to emergency supply and equipment requests.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.
