Job summary
The EPR Implementation and Readiness Lead for the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Programme is accountable to the TSD EPR Program Director for the operational elements of the digital transformation and business change workstreams of the EPR. They are also accountable for managing associated transformation and adoption requirements and liaising with system partners for EPR, business change and organisational transformation.
You will work closely with the TSD EPR Program Director, CXIO team, Senior Responsible Officer (SRO), Change Management Team, Subject Matter Experts, EPR PMO and wider EPR Programme Team.
The post holder will develop and deliver strategic and operational efficiency through the delivery of the EPR, quality and safety through the development of short-, medium- and longer-term transformational plans both internally and externally in partnership with our wider system partners and Devon and Cornwall Acute Providers and in line with the 'Frontline Digitalisation' and 'what good looks like' (WGLL).

This role will play a key part in prioritising and supporting improvement in service configuration under pinned by the delivery of an EPR. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the success of this clinical transformation programme, which has high stakes and complexity. You must possess exceptional partnership and collaborative skills, as well as the ability to identify and manage risks and interdependencies.
You will work closely with the EPR Benefits and Change Leads and be responsible for project assurance, risk management, stakeholder communication, and ensuring that the benefits of our EPR digital transformation projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.

To demonstrate good communication skills, as the role liaises with a wide variety of people within the trust and externally. This will include Senior Responsible Officer (SRO), EPR Operational Director, Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO), Chief Nursing Information Officer (CNIO), One Devon EPR Programme Team, Care Group Teams and wider Senior Leadership and Executive Team. To maintain excellent relationships with ICB leads, local authorities, and other local stakeholders to ensure the trust maintains a positive image, promoting and developing our digital front door. To build and maintain relationships with our core technology providers. To be responsible for positive and effective relationships and communication channels with internal and external stakeholders and partners. The postholder will develop, maintain and manage relationships within the Trust and with providers and ICS partners. They will work across the regional footprint. The EPR Implementation & Readiness Lead will work in partnership with Care Group Triumvirates and Corporate Colleagues. They will assist operational teams to transform and adopt new ways of working and regulatory requirements. They will have operational responsibility for the planning, service handover to BAU, and delivery of the Trusts EPR Transformation Strategy.
