We are seeking an experienced Environment & Sustainability Advisor to join our client’s team in Perth. This role is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and knowledgeable professional with deep Civil Engineering/ Utilities experience to drive environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and best practices across our operations.

The Role

As an Environment & Sustainability Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, minimising environmental impact, and fostering a culture of sustainability. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Developing, implementing, and maintaining Environmental Management Systems (EMS) to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
2. Conducting environmental audits, inspections, and assessments to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
3. Providing expert guidance to internal teams on environmental best practices and regulatory requirements.
4. Collaborating with operations, engineering, and health and safety teams to integrate environmental considerations into decision-making.
5. Monitoring environmental performance, analysing data, and preparing reports for management review.
6. Coordinating with regulatory bodies and third-party stakeholders.
