Position Summary:
The Environmental Services Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the community’s physical plant. (S)he oversees the general operations of maintenance and housekeeping to ensure that the community and apartments are maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner. (S)he assumes responsibility for the overall cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and organization of the physical plant of the facility. As a Department Head in the community, the Environmental Services Director is also responsible for communication and coordination with maintenance and housekeeping staff including the direct oversight of recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching and counseling, and monitoring of performance.
