Role Responsibilities:
The role includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Carry out the function of lead football officer for one of the three borough football clubs. Have an understanding of the legislative controls relating to Sports Grounds, arrange Safety Advisory Group meetings (SAGs), issue safety certificates, coordinate annual inspections, attend partnership and tactical meetings as required. Produce match day inspection reports, ensure the club meets its obligations in relation to the safety certificate and other applicable legislative requirements.
  • Coordinate Safety Advisory Group meetings for a borough event, undertake monitoring of the event to ensure public safety.
  • Undertake investigations into accidents, dangerous occurrences and serious incidents.
  • Respond to service complaints, members' enquiries and FOI, etc.
