Daniel Owen is proud to represent a Social Housing Company in the Bexley London area who is looking for an Environmental Health Officer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Investigate and respond to complaints related to allegations of statutory nuisance.
  2. Assess and approve s.61 applications.
  3. Permit and respond to licensing consultations.

Key Knowledge:
  1. Working knowledge and understanding of the nuisance provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
  2. Knowledge of licensing legislation.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  4. Construction industry knowledge.
  5. Social housing/local authority background.
  6. Degree or diploma in Environmental Health or a related subject, or significant experience within EP work.
