Working a hybrid style, you will be based at home and office at 5 City Square. You will work full time, 37 hours per week. Consideration will be given to newly qualified applicants. Requirements
You will have a BSc (Hons) Degree in Environmental Health, or equivalent, and the Royal Environmental Health Institute Diploma or other professional body qualifications.
Responsibilities
You will work in the Food and Health & Safety Team in the Regulatory Services Section. You will be required to undertake the full range of food law activities, occupational health and safety interventions, and respond to licensing applications.
The Individual
You will have general experience in all fields of Environmental Health, preferably with specialist knowledge in food safety and health and safety. You will have good communication skills (both oral and written), good computer and presentation skills, IT/analytical skills, and good report writing skills. You will also have the ability to deal with conflict, work as part of a team, work on your own initiative, meet deadlines with minimum supervision, and deal methodically and innovatively with problems to achieve a positive outcome. You will be willing to work varied and flexible hours as and when required.
