Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor
Dartford - 3 days min on site
£40 - £45k DOE + bens
Rare opportunity to join a forward thinking, global business with lots of scope for progression and great benefits as an EHS Advisor. Working within a regulated environment, this role would be ideal for someone with a Pharmaceutical or Food background.
Duties include:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) matters to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to mitigate risks and improve overall safety performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and assess existing safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address EHS concerns and develop effective solutions.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote a strong safety culture among employees.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Stay up to date with relevant EHS regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities and initiatives.
- Participate in EHS-related meetings, committees, and projects as required.
- Any other duties required.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Experience as a Health and Safety Advisor in a relevant industry - pharmaceutical/food etc.
- Some experience or knowledge of environmental factors
- A good academic record, educated to degree level in a scientific subject
- Relevant qualifications
- A meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
