An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, organised and flexible individual to work within the Waste Environmental Division as an Environmental Enforcement Officer.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join an existing team with a proven track record in tackling Environmental Crime to make a positive difference and contribute to providing a safe and prosperous environment for Carmarthenshire's residents, businesses and visitors. The successful candidate will have the ability to conduct investigations, deploy CCTV equipment and enforce legislation in accordance with legislative procedures and to support the wider aims and objectives of the division.

The role will require the successful candidate to undertake weekend working on a rota basis, (currently 1 weekend in 4) The weekend working will be supported with enhanced payment and toil.

Welsh language level - Verbal:
Level 2 - You will need a basic level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
