As part of a highly skilled team, you’ll lead a wide range of atmospherics compliance, reporting, and assessment projects for diverse clients. You will be part of a team of experts from various fields, such as engineers, marine biologists, chemists, acousticians, and GIS specialists.

As the Energy Transition accelerates, we are collaborating closely with our clients to manage the carbon intensity of energy provision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Energy Management portfolio, including ISO50001, ESOS, and other energy reduction studies, managing work scopes and providing technical support to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and assess decarbonisation opportunities, such as flare management, methane reduction, and renewable energy options.
• Manage the UK ETS portfolio.
• Liaise with clients to ensure project deliverables are met according to agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
• Review engineering design documentation and drawings to support environmental studies.
• Plan and lead energy/emissions management workshops.

About You - Skills and Experience Required:

• University degree in a relevant engineering or science field.
• Strong experience in a similar role, with a consultative approach.
• ESOS experience, with Lead Assessor accreditation preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with atmospheric management requirements, such as Emission Reduction Action Plans and OGMP2.0.
• Knowledge of industrial emissions legislation and the UK/EU Emissions Trading Scheme, with a proven track record in compliance support or leadership.
• Preferred knowledge of environmental engineering techniques and pollution control/mitigation solutions.
