Environmental Consultant

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team at EFI Global UK within Sedgwick.

Working for EFI Global within the UK for our insurance and commercial sector clients, you will be responsible for triage of environmental incidents and where required the supervision of site investigations to establish the extent of potential contamination following incidents and identifying the associated environmental risks. With the support of our Senior Management Team and trusted network of approved environmental and building contractors, you will be instrumental in delivering site remediation goals across a huge variety of different sites varying both in scale, severity and location.

EFI Global and Sedgwick are working with our Clients to manage often devastating environmental issues worldwide. There will be the opportunity to assist in desktop consulting from the UK for incidents across the globe and the flexibility to travel within the UK is essential.

You will have/will be:

  • Degree related to environmental science (preferably a Master's degree) or relevant work experience
  • Extensive experience in insurance, commercial & domestic sector environmental investigation would be desirable
  • Detailed knowledge of remediation techniques is desirable
  • Demonstrable history of contaminated site work
  • A full UK driving licence
