Job Overview

We are looking for an Environmental and Sustainability Manager to join our Compliance team. This is an exciting and challenging role, which is integral to developing and providing oversight of the Company’s sustainability strategy. As the focal point, you will lead on all environmental and sustainability matters throughout the organisation, working with key stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver best practice.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work closely with regulatory bodies, employees, external customers (e.g. airlines, tenants), Scottish Government, and contracted service providers.
2. Provide guidance and support to airport management teams to ensure compliance and development towards achieving Company strategies.
3. Manage the delivery of the Sustainability Strategy, Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and supporting processes.
4. Ensure continuous improvement of policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Qualifications

You will have a degree in an environmentally focused field with proven experience in leading and directing environmental and sustainability strategies. Previous experience working with regulatory bodies to ensure project and contractual compliance is advantageous.

We can consider applications to work on a hybrid basis, with the successful candidate based within daily travelling distance of any of our 11 airports. There will be some travel to our Head Office required.
