Job description
SHEQ Manager - up to £55,000 - Runcorn site.
We are working with a leading global manufacturer of a wide range of chemicals that are used as raw materials in almost every industrial process. They are looking for an experienced SHEQ Manager to join their Runcorn site.
Responsibilities:
- To review and continuously improve SHE & local Security management processes to meet annual SHE targets.
- Manage and develop the Quality & Environmental Management Systems.
- Ensure the Internal and External audit requirements of the site are met.
- Lead the management processes for all training to ensure SHE standards are met.
- Develop and lead a sustainable manufacturing improvement process to identify & deliver improvements in SHE, Quality, Reliability, Output and Costs.
Experience:
- Occupational SHE professional with proven experience in chemical manufacturing preferred.
- Recognised SHE qualification preferred.
- Knowledge & experience of the ISO standards & BSI processes.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing excellence techniques (e.g., Lean 6-Sigma etc)
- Understanding of process and shift operations
