Working within the Facilities and Maintenance team, the Environment and Facilities Support position will support site operations, environmental compliance and facility works.

Responsibilities

• Perform site environment and facility checks
• Update maintenance CMM system with job closure information and use daily for task management
• Responsible for recording & reporting findings of checks to facilities co-ordinator
• Completion of check sheets to high standard
• Assist contractors with F&M and environment tasks
• Operation of forklift to assist team
• Control of non-hazardous waste management on site
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping
• Collection of materials from stores to assist F&M team and contractors
• Support the environmental technician to ensure 100% site compliance
• Support gas deliveries and management of the gas process
• Assist operations with waste movements
• Engage in frequent, consistent communication with facilities and environment team, providing regular feedback on facility and environmental standards

Personal Skills

• Computer literate.
• Articulate / good communication skills.
• Able to use own initiative.

Other Skills

• Technical background; understanding of maintenance function or environmental management
• Experience of working in a factory environment
• Knowledge of facilities management/maintenance
• Forklift licence

Security Clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role. Please note that in the event that BPSS clearance cannot be obtained, you may not be eligible for the role and/or any offer of employment may be withdrawn on grounds of national security.
