Salary: Starting salary £27,006 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

The role:

BH Live operates three venues; Bournemouth International Centre, Bournemouth Pavilion & Fairfield Halls and are seeking an enthusiastic, organised person to join our small but busy team. You will assist with the provision of entertainment and special events across all three venues. This is a site-based role with occasional travel to our venues. You will be involved in the negotiation and programming, along with financial arrangements, costings and projections.

You will:

1. Assist in the negotiation and programming of entertainment/events.
2. Liaise with Promoters to agree budgets for the marketing of events.
3. Liaise with our internal Marketing & PR section (and our external Advertising Agency where appropriate), to ensure each event has an efficient and effective marketing campaign. And monitor the effectiveness and review as necessary.

To be successful you will need:

1. Relevant experience of working in a similar role alongside a good working knowledge of the entertainment and event industry including arts and culture.
2. Able to work independently and work towards tight deadlines.
3. Great people skills and understand the importance of providing a great customer experience to all.
4. To be a good negotiator and able to communicate well and effectively.
5. Work well and enjoy working as part of a team.
