ERP Project Manager

Following an acquisition and new flow of funding, our client is undertaking a major ERP transformation and needs a hands-on Project Manager to lead the implementation. You’ll have direct access to a very willing and motivated senior leadership team, so you’ll have a real opportunity to mould the business’ operations with full access to the key decision makers internally. This is a challenging but rewarding role, ideal for someone who has successfully delivered ERP projects in lean environments and knows how to keep teams on track, push back when needed, and drive best practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of the ERP implementation, ensuring projects stay within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Align internal teams and ERP partners to maintain a unified project direction.
• Define and enforce project milestones, schedules, and deliverables, keeping resources focussed.
• Provide hands-on support during testing, data migration, and system validation.
• Push back when necessary, ensuring business needs take priority over unnecessary customisations.
• Work closely with finance, operations, and manufacturing teams to establish system requirements.

About You

You have experience in:

• Manufacturing environments, with an understanding of operational processes and constraints.
• ERP Project Management – ideally with Epicor Kinetic, but other ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Infor, Dynamics) are considered.
• Stakeholder management – ability to challenge, push back, and drive accountability.
• ERP customisation, data migration, and system testing, ensuring smooth go-live transitions.
• Working in lean environments, keeping teams aligned and productive.
• Experience with Epicor Kinetic BPMs, SSRS, and C# for ERP customisation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing scheduling, finance, and operations within an ERP ecosystem.
• A strong, hands-on approach, ensuring issues are tackled proactively.
