SR2 have partnered with a consultancy supporting a key government department on a business-critical transformation programme. We're looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to help shape and drive architecture strategy from a low maturity starting point.

This role will be focused on working closely with senior stakeholders, inspiring confidence and navigating ambiguity to build a pragmatic and fit-for-purpose architecture capability. The ideal candidate will be confident operating in less-defined environments, with the interpersonal and influencing skills to bring people on the journey without relying on overly theoretical frameworks or rigid models.

You’ll be instrumental in guiding architectural thinking and ensuring alignment across multiple teams and business functions.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture roles




• Ability to work in low maturity architecture environments




• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills




• Pragmatic, outcome-focused approach over theoretical models




• Experience working in government or complex public sector environments (nice to have)

This contract will fall Outside IR35, with a rate of £500-550p/d.
