Group Architecture (GA) is part of The Technology, Data & Innovation (TDI) division and plays a pivotal role in accelerating the delivery of a bank-wide simplified target architecture that enhances agility, increases technology speed-to-market, and reduces costs. To achieve these objectives, Group Architecture employs a range of activities that includes developing target architectures and roadmaps, implementing governance frameworks, deploying strategic tools, ensuring design discipline, and establishing policies and standards.
The Architecture Strategy team within Group Architecture is responsible for defining a target state architecture operating model, synthesising and tracking the bank's architecture strategy, building a digital architecture and management information system (A&MI), governing a definition of a target state architecture of the bank (blueprint), and ensuring the bank's architecture is optimised in terms of costs and functionality.
In the role of an Enterprise Architect specialist, you will be working as part of a small team on architecture strategy focused on driving architecture strategy outcomes such as cross-division target-states, assessing change programme compliance to target-states, and ensuring software license spend aligns with our technology strategy.
