What you will do:

  1. Lead the development of data analytics insights to drive decision-making and improve business performance
  2. Collaborate with various business stakeholders to identify data needs, generate actionable insights and support strategic initiatives
  3. Design and implement data models, visualisations and reporting dashboards that provide clear insights into business performance and help communicate business impact
  4. Manage, mentor and support a team of data analysts, ensuring their continuous development and alignment with business goals
  5. You will play a part in building out our growing analytical capabilities and toolset, including SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, Python and R

What you will need:

  1. Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
  2. Significant experience in Data Analytics roles, preferably within banking or financial services
  3. Proven track record of building data driven projects that resulted in measurable business impact
  4. Experience working with large, complex data extraction, cleansing and transformation
  5. Proven experience with analytical tools and programming languages, preferably SQL, Power BI and Alteryx or Python
  6. Experience in stakeholder management, including presenting complex data insights to senior executives and non-technical audiences
  7. Demonstrated ability to mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making
