Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English education to students, fostering a love for literature and language, and preparing students for academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students of varying abilities.
2. Develop and implement curriculum that meets national standards and prepares students for exams.
3. Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles.
4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
5. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
6. Stay updated with the latest developments in English literature and language education and integrate them into the curriculum.
7. Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Degree in English or a related field.
3. Experience teaching English at the secondary level.
4. Strong knowledge of English literature, language, and composition.
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
6. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
7. Valid DBS check on the update service.
8. Right to work in the UK.
