English Teacher / English ECT | Outstanding Secondary School | Hammersmith & Fulham

In the heart of Hammersmith & Fulham, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is on the hunt for an English Teacher / English ECT for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time contract.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious English Teacher / English ECT who is keen to add value to an expanding English Department. The School is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The School is well invested in the Education sector, setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the School!

Experienced English Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility, and more. Newly Qualified English Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled onto the School's very own bespoke ECT induction and will work alongside a range of young & experienced English Teachers.

English Teacher / English ECT

2. Working alongside a team of fantastic English Teachers
3. TLR Opportunities: KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
4. ECTs welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, In & out of house training and more
5. September 2025 - Full Time & Permanent
6. MPS1-UPS3 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
7. Located in the Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham

PERSON SPECIFICATION

1. Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
2. Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
3. Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
4. You must be able to work as part of a large team of English Teachers
5. Must be willing to listen to feedback
