This full-time role starts immediately and continues until the summer term. This secondary school is based in Rubery with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, has strong community values and is looking for an English Teacher for their Key Stage 3 and 4 Students.

As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:

• Teach English throughout KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, mark, and assess student work.
• Comply with the school behaviour policy.
• Report pupil progress against targets/action plans.
• Build relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
• Exhibit excellent behaviour and classroom management skills.

Required skills and experience for the English Teacher role:

• Specialist in English.
• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Humanities - Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
• Previous school experience teaching Humanities.
