Job description

Justteachers are looking to recruit an English teacher to help a partner secondary school based in Grimsby. This role is to start after the Easter Holidays. The school is looking for either full-time or part-time (job share) candidates for this role. The role is expected to last until July 2025, with the potential of being extended into the new academic year.

SLT at this school are supportive and inclusive. The school benefits from a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

• Be able to show great initiative and strong behaviour management in the classroom
• Engage with pupils and make sure they are kept on task
• The desire to make a difference in pupils' lives
• Be able to plan and mark engaging English lessons

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• QTS / Equivalent teaching qualification
• The ability to communicate with and inspire pupils of all abilities
• 2 Educational / School based references
• A strong commitment to raising standards
• Hold strong behaviour management skills and be able to engage pupils regardless of their ability and background
