Secondary English Teacher
Location: Lambeth Borough

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school catering to students aged 11-19. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire young minds and contribute to a vibrant school community.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential opportunities at KS5.
• Foster a love for literature and language while motivating students to reach their full potential.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive school environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hold QTS, a PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and accessible lessons.
• Possess excellent classroom management skills, inspiring and challenging students.
• Be eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
